Sony has announced a major overhaul in its Bravia product lineup for the 2024 models, simplifying model names to make it easier for consumers to navigate their range of TVs and entertainment products. The new Bravia lineup includes mini-LED TVs with local dimming zones, OLED TVs, soundbars, and more, all under the trusted Bravia brand.
At the top of the line is the Bravia 9, a mini-LED LCD model available in 65-, 75-, and 85-inch varieties, boasting to be the brightest 4K TV Sony has ever produced. Following closely is the Bravia 8 OLED, featuring 75-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch options, while the Bravia 7 offers a mini-LED model with slightly lower brightness compared to the 9.
The Bravia 3 models are direct-lit LED LCDs without Next Gen TV tuners or autocalibration modes, catering to customers looking for a simpler viewing experience. However, the Bravia 7, 8, and 9 series come equipped with autocalibration modes, allowing users to adjust picture settings based on the content they are watching from platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and Sony apps.
In addition to TVs, Sony’s new Bravia products also include a range of soundbars, speakers, and neckphones, all carrying the Bravia branding. The new soundbars, including the Bravia Theater: Bar 9, Bar 8, and Quad, offer various driver setups and features like Dolby Atmos and HDMI eARC for immersive audio experiences. The Bravia Theater: U is a unique neckband with upwards firing drivers, offering personal audio without covering your ears.
While availability and pricing for the full 2024 Bravia range are yet to be announced, some models are already available for preorder, giving consumers a glimpse into the future of Sony’s home entertainment offerings. Stay tuned for more updates on Sony’s exciting new Bravia lineup.
