Its Deep Space Optical Communications (DSOC) device recently accomplished a remarkable feat by sending a laser signal back to Earth from a distance of 10 million miles. As the mission progresses, Psyche’s highly advanced neutron-detecting sensors will soon begin analyzing 16 Psyche’s chemical composition.
