Hamas Releases New Propaganda Videos Showing Proof of Life for Hostages
Hamas has released new propaganda videos showing proof of life for two hostages, American-Israeli Keith Siegel and Israeli Omri Miran, who were captured during attacks on 7 October in Gaza. In the videos, both men appeal to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu for negotiations in order to secure their release.
The families of the hostages are calling on the Israeli government to secure a new hostage release deal, as the Israeli government has not issued a comment on the latest videos shared by Hamas. This is the second video released by Hamas this week showing hostages speaking and calling for negotiations.
In another recent video, Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin was shown alive but with an amputated left arm. Around 250 people were believed to have been abducted by Hamas and other militant groups during the 7 October attacks, with approximately 100 hostages still in captivity.
The families of the hostages have criticized the Israeli government for not doing enough to secure their loved ones’ release. Nearly 30 individuals who were abducted on 7 October are believed to have been killed, and their remains are still being held by the groups.
The situation remains tense as the families of the hostages continue to push for the Israeli government to take action and negotiate with Hamas for the safe return of their loved ones. Stay tuned to Matzav Blog for further updates on this developing story.
